Why we cannot find even a piece of tiger’s bone in Borneo Island?
Tigers are almost found in the whole Asia. And during ice age,the South East Asia Sea was actually terrestrial. Many animals like elephants,rhinos, monkeys and wild boars were able to migrate there.
In Borneo, leopard is the only big cat can be found until today.All I know leopards are not superior as tigers when they are in a duel.
Crocodiles of Borneo is the only animals can threaten tigers.
There are enough food source, suitable climate and tropical forest,yet tigers still can’t be found there.
And what exactly are you asking?
There are Sumatran Tiger’s in Borneo. They are extreemly rare to begin with and have become rarer due to habitat destruction.
Leopards probably cannot beat a tiger in a fight, no, but what does that have to do with the price of pinto beans in New Guinea? You need more than a suitable climate for survival. you need enough hunting ground, you need enough safe places to raise your young, you need people who don’t poison your food (which happens at least in India, I’m not sure if this happens or not in Sumatra) and you need not to be hunted by humans. And crocodiles are not the only animal that threaten tigers, humans do it all the time.
Besides, why would you even expect to find any animals bones in a tropical rainforest. Carcassas deteriorate in general within a week.
